Seafood shack

Freshly cooked to order, large portions. Ordered the cod basket. Two huge pieces of moist cod with well seasoned coating. Fries were hot and salty. Not greasy. Great price. Definitely want to try other items on the menu.

My family and I went here and they had shrimp and I had catfish. The food was ready in less than 10 min, freshly fried and absolutely delicious. The guys working were super friendly. This isa perfectly Friday place during Lent! Do yourself a favor and go!

As everyone knows, I love a good crab cake and well-seasoned food, and this place definitely delivered. While visiting my nephew in Newport News, we stopped by and everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The seafood was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly and welcoming. If you’re in Newport News and craving good seafood, this spot is worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town!

My husband and I decided to try this small take out/restaurant seafood place because we were craving fried shrimp. We were very happy with our delicious meal. The shrimp were medium size and very tender... and plentiful. I got fries and he got hush puppies as a side. Both were tasty, and the price was very reasonable. Also the man who took our order was very nice. They do have plenty of tables to eat in and the interior is super clean and tidy. Overall I was very impressed and will definitely be going back.

In town to visit— the hubby and I ordered the catfish nuggets— which were good; the okra— pretty good; Mac n cheese 👎🏾 not very good; collards were good; chicken tenders were over done and the shrimp was pretty good. The atmosphere was nice and clean- service was good as well. Over all, this place was ok.
