I'm cleansing right now. It's post the holidays and I gained the holiday 8... cause I ate everything. So since I've been on this cleanse no meat and very limited carbs. I ordered the tofu burrito and tofu enchilada and taco with beans and rice. The tofu enchilada was excellent, so glad I tried it. I'm sure their meat enchilada are 🔥. The burrito was good, the taco was just alright, nuthin to brag home about, very plain. The rice was good. Their salsa bar was excellent the choices was great from mild to 🔥🔥🔥. And most importantly they gave you tortilla chips with the order, like the original Mexican food joints. I always enjoy the chips and salsa and most places now try to charge for the chips with the order that's what makes the place a real G!!! G as in good. Although it was all the way in
I have to agree with other recent reviews that the food at Sea Casa has absolutely gone downhill. The burrito I had for lunch there was, without exaggeration, the worst I’ve had in over 40 years. It was disgusting. They handed me something that looked more like a sad appetizer than a burrito: tiny, with unmelted cheese, bland flavor, and zero effort. I’ve had better burritos at gas stations, and that’s not hyperbole. If you want proof, look at the photos. They speak for themselves. As a long-time Westlake resident, I won’t be back until there’s new management and a serious turnaround.
WARNING...DO NOT EAT HERE! I have been eating at this place for over 15 years and ever since the place was bought out, everything has gone downhill. Prices went way up while food portions went way down and the new owner knows it and when you complain about it he says "Too bad, if you don't like it, don't come back". I am not kidding he literally said that to me today. I ordered the La Bamba burrito ( same burrito I've been ordering for years ) and I kid you not, the burrito they gave me was the size of a something that could easily pass off as an appetizer from the value menu at Taco Bell. Not only that but they also give you a small literally less than "handful" of chips. Don't believe me? I am attaching photos for you all to see. This taco bell sized value menu burrito and hand full of
If you are looking for a very casual, quick lunch, this is the place. If you are looking for slightly heavy comfort food, this is the place. Staff is nice too!
Worst California Burrito ever. French fries were soggy. Tasted bland. No salt at all. Salsas were all watered down. Overall would not step foot inside with so many good food places all through California. To top it off $17+ for the burrito alone.
