Westlake Village Library

Don't use the drop off box. A book I dropped off was never checked in and now I'm being fined for a missing book.

1. The environment in the library is very good, with a special children's reading area and computers. 2. There are a wide variety of books, including books in Chinese, English, and Spanish, but mainly in English. 3. There are a lot of audio-visual materials that can be borrowed.

I remeber i went in their one and i could hear some white kid whispering "theres a black guy in here!" With shock. Well i never went back. I grew up with white kids but the older i get the more racist i find the more i realize most yts dont want to be friends they want to hate us. I guess they want us to hate them back. Soooo.....

This is MY SPOT! I love coming to this library because all the staff are incredibly warm and friendly and welcoming. Rosa remembers everyone's name and has kind words for each person who checks out. And if you've even been once, you'll know who Rosa is. It has conveniently late hours on Tuesday and Wednesday for the working set. Westlake Village branch doesn't have the item you want? Request it and they'll truck it in from other branches for you! And if you're lucky enough to make it during the day, you can check out the book nook for books on sale, and enjoy the fountain and landscaping of city hall. While you're there, why not drop off your outgoing mail in the USPS mailbox too?
