We recommend this place to all our guests! This bar is a melding of historic Enka-Candler and the vibrant evolution of Asheville. Where folks who were born and raised in 28815 zip code gather with neighbors new to WNC (last 25 years). Hillbillies, tree huggers, barrel racers, yogies, factory workers, and bankers all love Mel and her bar!

Such wonderfully friendly people, a great selection of drinks and a rotating food truck. The decor is classy and the atmosphere is great. We’re happy to have this new local bar
So happy that there’s finally a good local spot on my way home. Great selection of beer. Reasonable prices. Atmosphere is really well done. Good quality food truck today. Looks like they are working on a heated porch. Only suggestion is that a nitrous Guinness would be nice. Lovely local atmosphere. Well done. We will be back.
