Engadine Inn and Cabins

We had a lovely stay here with a very kind and attentive host. He made a delicious breakfast for us and was very knowledgeable about the history of the house. He also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for Valentine’s Day and offered to let us check out late. The fireplaces in the rooms are cozy and the walk around the property was very nice, too. Go and enjoy a relaxing stay!

This is not a Bed and Breakfast and should stop pretending to be one. This is an Airbnb. Real B&Bs do not use contactless check in but Airbnbs do. Real B&Bs help when your fireplace doesn't work, a YouTube video for lighting the pilot light sent via text is an Airbnb kind of thing. BTW, couldn't get the pilot light on, so no fire and the room was so cold the provided space heater didn't quite get the job done. Finally, the "gourmet" breakfast was a buffet with cold eggs, cold oatmeal (quaker maple and brown sugar) and cold Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. None of the items had a heat source, pretty sure that's a health code violation. On the bright side the house itself is gorgeous, the bed was really comfortable and the water pressure was great. Absolutely magical stay. This is one of those rare places where everything feels just right — peaceful surroundings, beautiful walks, and a true sense of calm from the moment you arrive. The breakfasts are outstanding, clearly made with care and love, and feel like a special ritual rather than just a meal. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and deeply relaxing. You can truly slow down here, breathe, and enjoy nature. A perfect Bed & Breakfast experience — we can’t wait to return.

We were at Engadine for one night, but had a wonderful experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very cozy, the host Alex was very nice and helpful and it was a great location. It started to lightly snow when we were leaving, so I really wanted to stay another night. We plan to come back and stay in a cabin and bring the children/grands. Thanks for everything!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Engadine for our 5th anniversary. The chef did an amazing job serving us and the food was great! Alex was an awesome host and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Engadine for the 10/10 experience in Asheville!
