The curry goat is the best I’ve had. rich flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. You can taste the authentic Jamaican spices in every bite. The portion was generous and everything was fresh and hot. Great food, great flavor, and definitely worth the visit.
I am almost bummed that this place is in the mall! It’s so far away from me, but I have driven to the Danbury mall all the way from Shelton just to eat here! Everything is always so fresh and you can tell that they put love into the food that they make. There are so many layers of flavor and every time I try something new, I am never disappointed. The customer service is always amazing, they are always recommending what to try and explain exactly what is in the food in case someone like me who is unfamiliar with the cuisine wants to try something. Definitely deserves five stars.
Disappointing. I enjoyed the chicken and flavor itself but service left a lot to be desired. First they were late and had me leave and come back in 30 mins. Then when I came back, they still weren't ready. The lettuce and tomato were bagged salads from target which I quickly said no for my sandwich. My first and last time here. I don't recommend at all.
The food has no flavor no spice at all taste as if the rice is Goya box rice with added all spice balls in it ALOT OF ALL SPICE BALLS. I chewed about 3 all spice balls in every bite I took no flavor no flavor no flavor !!!!!! They charge almost $4 for a mini drumstick fried piece of chicken …. Worse food and disappointment to the culture $21 dollars for a small plate really is $15 with tax but the extra 3 something for the mini drumsticks. If you have money to throw away or just feel like your in the mood to donate try it never again the way the food looked in the display surprised me on how it taste ! Literally no taste !!! Last thing the Steamed VEGETABLES?!?!! Nothing but RAW VEGETABLES hard like plastic !!!
A great option in the mall. Delicious food and large servings. The callaloo greens and chicken curry were outstanding. My family had mango chicken and jerk chicken. Both good too
