We have been wanting to come in here and finally stopped!! Such a cute little shop. The ice cream was absolutely amazing with such great flavor! I highly recommend you coming in and checking them out. You will not be disappointed.

This place is Amazing. I was so blown away from all the plants... I forgot to get ice cream. But it looked awesome. I bought three plants...but i wanted 12. If you love plants, you will definitely be impressed. I can't wait to go back.

SUCH a hidden gem!! I visit the area fairly infrequently; only when I stay at Juniper Ranch & Retreat down the road. I was in the mood for ice cream and this place was the only real ice cream place I could find. The store is beautiful and the owner super friendly and helpful! I got the campfire or fireside ice cream with dark chocolate chunks, graham cracker and marshmallow and it was even better than Ben & Jerry’s s’more ice cream, which is my favorite. I also ended up buying 2 plants and a couple of pots. I told him how I have killed so many succulents and I want plants, but am rather neglectful and he picked out two that apparently thrive in neglect 😆 so definitely the perfect plants for me. Scoops & Roots is like a Hallmark movie set but with ice cream—and honestly, I’m here for it. The plants are so cute I considered buying one just to prove I can keep something alive besides myself. The ice cream? Next level. Flavors you won’t find anywhere else and so good they made me question why I’ve wasted years on plain chocolate. Service was top notch—friendly, fast, and zero judgment when I ordered more than one scoop (don’t act like you wouldn’t). If you’re at Canyon Lake and skip this place… rethink your life choices.

Worth a visit. A great spot to enjoy some fresh air surrounded by plants, grab dessert and coffee, and relax. Plenty of space to hang out and unwind.
