Customer Reviews
While prices are higher than I’ve ever paid for ice cream ($7 for half blueberry cheesecake and half Thai basil mint chocolate chip), the quality was excellent. The cheesecake flavor was rich and the basil was fragrant. I went early afternoon and they were out of several flavors including honeycomb, salted caramel, and others which is a bummer. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s worth it in my opinion!
Delicious homemade ice cream, amazing flavors, friendly staff and comfortable eating area. We’ll be back!
The ice cream was amazing!! Went there for the first time tonight. I had the vegan cookies and cream (gf) and wow! 🤩 it was so good and so creamy. I couldn’t tell it was plant based. My husband said the same. He had their honeycomb one to and said it was amazing as well Don’t hesitate to check them out.
Great ice cream. Yummy. Lots of gluten free options. Best in Des Moines perhaps??
So I dragged my husband to Des Moines’ newest ice cream shop in Highland Park tonight. It’s a cute little shop with fun and bright decor inside. They usually have around 12 flavors but they only had eight flavors tonight and most of them were getting low. That tells you how popular they are. I got a scoop of strawberry and my husband got strawberry lemon sorbet. I really liked mine. It tasted really fresh and creamy and had that homemade taste you can’t get from grocery store ice creams. My husband liked his, too. It’s $6 for a scoop and there’s a $1 up charge for nondairy flavors. One thing I really liked was that their tasting spoons they use to give out samples were real metal spoons. I appreciate their eco-consciousness. Their tables and chairs had a casual retro vibe that I liked.
