Sayulita

I have been to both their locations multiple times. Previously I didn't mind the very high prices for a taco. Not plural, but singular. My last trip was such a let down in Centerville. Food wasn't cold but wasn't hot. Swimming in sauce...see images. And my Margarita, I didn't finish.

Food was amazing. Sayulita gives a fresh take on Mexican food that is hard to come by in New England. I couldn't try everything on the menu but from the items I did try everything was amazing. Emma was our server and she was very helpful with recommendations and asking if we needed anything. The ribs fell off the bone, the queso and guac were phenomenal, cornbread was to die for, and my burrito was a very fresh take on a burrito that I would eat again. Would recommend.

First time at Sayulita's & we had a great time ! The atmosphere is casual, our server was excellent and offered information and suggestions that were spot on 👌 I had roasted beet salad, which was delicious with a spicy aioli, and the shrimp fajitas. The seasoning was delicious, shrimp were cooked perfect with a nice snap to them as well, 5 🌟. For dessert I chose the special pumpkin spice flan, absolutely delicious with the fresh whipped cream. The drinks were very good. Eveyone in our party loved their meals & had a great time. Chef Ethan was fabulous, outgoing, he was greeting patrons and checking in on their dining experiences, very nice ! I visited Sayulita in Centerbrook for the first time with my sister. The interior of the restaurant is very new, clean, and aesthetic. The staff is friendly, patient and attentive. We started with the chips, guac and salsa which didn’t disappoint. My sister ordered a daily special margarita (the hibiscus margarita) and said it was very good and fresh. I believe the margarita was priced around $12 which was reasonable. We each ordered 2 a la carte tacos which tasted decent, however, the little street tacos are $8 each which is overpriced. You’re definitely paying for the restaurant atmosphere rather than the actual taco.
