Giving this place a three stars I paid $27 for everything. My issues are that the pastries were cold they were not warmed up or given the option to warm up. Also I paid 13.00 for the breakfast bowl when there are similar breakfast bowls for 7 Bucks with more potatoes or food in it I feel like it's kind of overpriced for no reason

Happened upon this place by accident on a trip to Essex from Hartford area. So glad to find this gem because I'll definitely be going back! We just did a walk through, but already have in mind things I want to try the next time I get back there. So many unique items to see, fresh bread, fresh flowers, great refrigerated and frozen prepared food options. There were several different salads to choose from rotisserie chicken. There was a section where you could order food and sandwiches to go. The bakery items looked delicious! So much more as well! As I said so many great things! The staff was really friendly as well! Can't wait to get back there to try some things! Wish them all the best, they deserve it! Cool place!

What a ripoff. 16$ for a disgusting prime rib sandwich. It was really small. Loaded with gristle,one ever so small slice of cheese,loaded down with some mayonnaise crap. That ruined what seemed like a decent roll. I also got a piece of porchetta picture perfect at 22$ a lb. Just a tad over priced. The slice or corn bread 4$ well worth it. This place won’t last the sandwich was beyond gross. I just looked at the menu the sandwich I ordered was supposed to have lettuce and tomato. Now I wish I didn’t tip.

Everything was pretty great until I got my sandwich home and realized that the egg wasn’t even cooked at all almost not even over easy. It looked way too raw to consume for that price. I mean, they should’ve at least cooked a sandwich Correctly. Most people know when an egg is safe to eat and not. But otherwise, everything else is pretty great. If you’re going to order an egg sandwich. Make sure you say you want it well done… Pretty sure if I eat this, it would’ve given me salmonella

"Good things come to those who wait"! Cooked is a welcome addition to the bustling food community in Essex. It’s like an indoor farmer’s market with an upscale vibe. Lots of locally sourced goods delightfully displayed. Kudos for the salads and soups served in compostable paper containers. After several visits, we’ve enjoyed most of the baked goods, some chocolates, Granola Butter, and a delicious side of curried cauliflower to embellish a busy weeknight dinner. If you’re gifting a foodie, you’ll also find non-food items for the kitchen. Easy in and out parking is on the side, rather than in front. There is one handicapped parking space in front next to the ramp leading to the entrance. The aisles are wide enough for a wheelchair or walker. There’s usually someone available for assistance
