I found the staff to be exemplary—prompt, efficient, and skilled in their food preparation. However, it is imperative that proper hygiene protocols, such as the use of hair nets, be strictly observed and utilized. I didn’t find a hair in my food luckily, but did notice the ladies who prepared the food not wearing them when I frequented. The establishment’s interior, regrettably, falls short in creating an inviting atmosphere and could benefit from a considerable facelift. The sushi itself was satisfactory, striking a balance between unremarkable and commendable. The food itself is not terrible nor is it exceptional, but good. I took my family here to celebrate my Fiance and I’s anniversary. We went in and sat down, the waitress was polite but had this strange attitude the entire time. That doesn’t bother me so much, I get it we all have those days that are harder than others, the food tasted strange. I got the Godzilla role, my Fiance got the Rangoon roll and California roll. Out of the three the only good one was the California roll. The Godzilla roll had an interesting flavor but it made me very badly sick later that night. I spent most of the night in the restroom with food poisoning. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not because of the service or the atmosphere but because of how just bad the food is.

I was really excited to try this place while I was in the area. I walked in to place a to-go order. The waitress was kind but distracted. Everyone seemed stressed out and confused. Something appeared to be going on that they were trying to handle and I'm guessing that was why orders were coming out slowly and with mistakes. I ordered the scallops and a chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles. It took nearly an hour to get my food. The scallops were actually delicious, but for $11 I expected more than 4. That's almost 3 dollars per scallop. And, I didn't realize until I got home that my teriyaki chicken noodle bowl did not have noodles at all, it had rice instead. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly face and quickly sat down. In absolutely no time at all we received our drinks and ordered our entrees. The restaurant is extremely clean with modern decor. I had a salmon bento box and was blown away with how well it was cooked and the overall flavor. The sautéed veggies are amazing, as is the asian dressing on the garden salad. The food is reasonably priced for the amount you get. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back! For my fellow truckers, you can park at the Pilot truck stop and walk about a block.

We were visiting the area and came upon Sayama Grill. Walking in, the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full with 2 dirty tables ( which stayed dirty for a time). Despite our better judgement, we chose to give it a try. The waitress came to us giving menus in a timely fashion but did take a moment to come back around to take our order. She was very kind. The food too longer than expected to come out. I was asked if I wanted a miso soap, which was a given for me as it comes with the bento box. I of course said yes. It soon came out. A little after, my bento box came out. Missing both my sushi and the salad it comes with, the sushi came a little later but I did have to prompt for the salad, which seemigly was old and had an off taste.
