Savory Seasoned Kitchen

Everything was wonderful. We felt very welcomed and the food was delicious. We had the soul bowl and, Eben though we each ordered different vegetables, all of the vegetables were delicious. My friend said here tasted like the best of home cooking. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and airy. The staff couldn't have been better. The waitress offered suggestions, checked on us several times, and had a great attitude with a beautiful smile.

I'll be honest, I did not know what to expect when my husband and I arrived at the restaurant and saw it was in a hotel. But we were pleasantly surprised. Not only was the restaurant clean and newly renovated but the food was unbelievable. I ordered the fried chicken as well as the guest we had with us and my husband ordered the catfish. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and delicious. Also, Ashley, our waitress was phenomenal. She was so sweet, gave us great recommendations and very accommodating. I am not from the area but I will be back for work and I will definitely come back here. Thank you.

Everything was amazing! I ordered the garlic parmesan wings and the bread pudding both were absolutely delicious. The wings were crispy and full of flavor, and the bread pudding was warm and comforting, just like homemade. I loved the service too everyone was friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Today was our first visit and it was great! Ashley is so kind and knowledgeable. The hostess was polite and attentive. Our waitress Free was noticeably in training (just because she asked for help) but she was awesome. She listened and understood just how we wanted our food. She didn't let our glass go empty and made sure that we had all condiments. The food was simply delicious!! Now need to drive to Henderson, Durham or anywhere else for soul food. This is our new favorite place and we will continue to support them. Thank you

If your in the mood for some great home cooking, look no further. The food was great, service was excellent and staff was friendly and attentive. This was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back.
