Angora Mediterranean Restaurant

Wonderful little spot in Oxford for lunch or dinner. The service was excellent and the owner/chef was stopping by the tables to chat with the customers and really seemed to care about us having a great meal. Lot of pride in the restaraunt and it was very clean. The variety of food choices was fantastic and even though we both went with the chicken shwarma wrap this time, there were many other options both Italian and American that I'd like to try. The wrap was packed with chicken and it was served fresh and hot. Even the simple vegetable side was cooked well. Lastly the homemade foccacia bread and dipping sauce brought to the table completely was really tasty! We will definitely be back as we traverse I-85 between VA and RDU area often. Thanks for a great lunch.

This was my first time in angora! I’m pleased to say the food was absolutely delicious, my burger was made exactly medium rare as requested and our server Priscilla was so sweet and made sure we were satisfied. The owner gave us a free sample of Baklava and it was so flavorful!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Our waitress Erin., she was personable, knowledgeable, fun and made our experience over the top a great experience. Erin would check back in with us during and also at the end of the to ensure that everything went well. A true touch of class for this restaurant. The food was excellent, and we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Ali. He came out to chat for a bit. Wonderful person. Tried for the first time. Picked up lunch Chicken Shawarma with chips. The chicken was juicy and flavorful! The chips were good crunchy and seasoned. Good service. Portion was great, all for $13!
