Oxford's Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor

Excellent ice cream, phenomenal atmosphere, superb proprietress. This is a really nice, small ice cream parlor in the charming down town area of Oxford, NC. The waffle bowl and waffle cone were not just made on site, but made to order! So many places have the waffles made in house, but they make them "en mass" and tend to get stale throughout the day. These were piping fresh with excellent texture and flavor. Then the ice cream, also home-made on site, has wonderful flavors and textures. The serving in a waffle bowl or cone comes with three small scoops, so you can try up to three different flavors. We like to try for variety, so it is nice to get samples of so much at such an affordable rate. We tried Strawberry Cheesecake, Butter Pecan, Coconut, Peach Cobbler, Mint Chocolate Chip, Banana

Awesome little ice cream shop in Oxford, NC. Good place to take the kids and say they have $6.50 for ice cream- lots of $6.50 choices! The kids LOVE the cookies and cream flavor "it has tons and tons of oreos in it! Look!" -5yo fan. My fave is the strawberry cheesecake. 🍓

My husband and I enjoyed some very good custard like ice cream on a Sunday afternoon. It has the atmosphere of an old fashioned ice cream parlor located in this small town’s downtown area- easily accessible off I 85 exit 204 - about 7 miles. My vanilla sundae was delicious with toppings of strawberries cherries wet walnuts & coconut shredded.My husband had plain vanilla.The place looked to be spick and span and the customer service was spot on. There are not a lot of toppings but enough. Very enjoyable!!

Just discovered this beautiful ice cream shop in Oxford. Family went out for a Father's Day treat. We had the strawberry waffle bowl, cookies and cream waffle bowl with wet walnuts, and son had a cookies and cream milkshake. Oh my goodness, it was all soooo very delicious. We could taste the freshness of strawberries in the cream. The waffle cones were so light and fresh. The milkshake was so smooth and tasty. This will be our new spot for ice cream . Staff so friendly and sweet. Stop by , you will not be disappointed.

The best ice cream I have ever had. Very friendly and happy atmosphere. All natural ice cream no artificial flavors or colors. A place to bring the whole family. Fantastic banana splits and fresh hand made waffle cones.
