Sarr Maimouna West African Food

Very Nice service. And, very good food. As a Senegalese Liberian, I wasnt expecting less from my Birthland Senegal that has some of the best food in West Africa. especially the best Jollof rice aka Thieboudienne from Senegal the originators of the dish Jollof rice. Thank you Ms Meimouna. I really had a good time coming in today with my Friend. The thieboudienne, bisaap and thiakri were great. So yummy.

I will start off by saying I love African food, and was excited to see that this opened up just near me. I walk inside(I am the only one inside), and pitch black, just one or two lights on. A guy sitting on the floor behind the bar, pops up, and asks what am I doing? I ask him for a table for 1, and he is confused, and we go back and forth. He says pick a table, I sit down, and then he says come and get your menu, so I stand up and grab the menu from his hand, and he sits back down on the floor. I sit there for about five minutes and no one comes to me to take my order. While sitting there, there is a baby just wearing a diaper, running in and outside of the kitchen, obviously a workers kid. Not sure how this place passed health inspection, you can tell from one good look, that its going

My experience is always great here, I have eaten here more than two hands full of times..very flavorful meals, very fresh, and my close friends also enjoy Thiebodienne as well.

I just tried this place and it was really good! Friendly service and the fish dish I had was very tasty.

I’m unsure if this restaurant is actually open for service. Tried to visit around 4pm on a Wednesday a couple weeks ago and all lights were off, door was locked.
