Sarah's Handmade Ice Cream Wildwood

We visited on a Friday evening with a gift card we received from a kid’s birthday party. The shop was packed, with many families excited for ice cream and patiently waiting in line. Some families were also sitting at tables with their little ones, enjoying books from the shelf, which added a cozy touch. They had a wide variety of flavors, including some that seemed unique to this shop. I ordered the creamy butter pecan, while my kids chose party cake and strawberry. The flavors were a bit different from what we expected — my butter pecan, for example, seemed to have a hint of nutmeg — but that uniqueness made the experience special. Overall, it was a fun evening out as a family, and we enjoyed both the atmosphere and the ice cream.

One of the best ice cream places I’ve been to! They’ve got a large selection of flavors with unique ones as well as classics. Up to two flavors can be sampled upon request. One scoop was $5, half and half $6. I got pistachio and it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. They’ve got lots of seating both indoors and outdoors. They were popular on a Friday night and it was easy to see why! Highly recommend checking out this place.

So many unique flavors! It was seriously hard to chose which ones we wanted. They allow samples which helped narrow it down, but the decisions were still tough. We went with chunky cookie dough and Oreo lover. Chunky cookie dough was great, and had a good amount of cookie dough pieces in it. Oreo lover was my favorite of the two. It was delicious and had a lot of Oreo pieces mixed in which I loved! The space is small but there is seating both inside and outside. The employees were really friendly and I definitely want to come back and try more!

I come from a long line of ice creams snobs who would drive 40 minutes after dinner to go to "the good ice cream shop". this is my absolute favorite in the DMV. they have the classics, seasonal flavors, and unique creative combos. and they nail every single one. if it's your first time, get an ice cream flight - it's worth it. PLEASE come here and keep this incredible local small business thriving so I never have to live without it. :) one note - plz stop using AI generated images for the flavors. it's basically catfishing when the actual product looks completely different (cough cough, strawberry sorbet...) let my 10 photos convince you lol.

really love the ice cream here. From the variety on the menu, to the taste, it’s really a great place. The workers are charming and the second you walk in, you know you’re going to enjoy it, no matter what you get. I highly recommend trying this place out. The biscoff is currently my favorite flavor. can’t wait to try more!
