Sappiamo Pizza

There's no way I'm eating chain pizza now that I know this is in town. I just got home with my 8" deep dish and 12" thin crust. The crust is homemade and the meats are high quality. Those point are made obvious immediately. This is a quality product at a competitive price. Really well done, Sappiamo's.

I wasn’t going to write a review on this place at first, because my wife and I just wanted to try this new place because it replaced one of our favorite food trucks in Carthage. And boy we did not regret it, the pizza is fantastic and not something you would expect out of a pizza food truck. It was cooked fresh to order and we got a thin crust margarita pizza which was to die for. A small pizza was the perfect size for a nice snack for us and the price was unbeatable, it was only 6 dollars! We will be back to try the deep dish but if you are driving through Carthage you need to stop and try out this new food truck. Also the owner was super nice and came out and we got to talk to him for a second.

I'm from Chicago, so we are very picky about our pizza. This was a good pizza. Rate it 7.5/10. Crust was great--cooked perfectly. Sauce was sweet and i like it that way. The amount of sausage, onions and mushrooms applied was much better than ANY thin crust sold in Chicago. I wish it had a little more sauce, but I'll leave that up to the chef cuz more sauce might have overloaded the crust, making it soggy. But, i still recommend the chef experiment with more sauce....maybe combined with a SLIGHTLY thicker crust to offset the extra sauce. My sister disagrees....she gave the pizza an 8/10. GREAT JOB.....and a damn good pizza. Kudos to the chef.

I wish I had tried this sooner! Very good pizza. And a lot of bang for your buck. There is so much food for what you pay, and its very good quality. You can tell they take pride in their work. We called and put in a custom deep dish order, instead of going with one of their menu options, and tried the classic Margherita pizza, which was great.

Delicious! We got a deep dish supremo and cracker crust margherita pizzas and they were FANTASTIC! You can tell that the ingredients are made fresh and hand picked daily. Superior quality and you can tell! Can’t wait to go back and try more items
