Sanguich

I was finally able to make it to their Coral Gables location for lunch today after hearing so much about this place. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered the croqueta preparada, boniato fries and mamey shake. I had plans to order the pan con lechon and pan con bistec on the way out to bring home to my family but decided not to after eating my sandwhich. The bread was left in the toaster too long and did not feel fresh at all. The meats in the sandwich were barely enough. The entire sandwich felt very dry. I only ate half of it. The fries were a bit overdone in my opinion and not really good. The mamey shake was OK, nothing special, just like the rest of the meal. Great sandwiches! We had these a while back in the Calle 8 location. This place is so much better: quieter, calmer, cleaner. Great service as well. Loved the sweet potato fries, highly recommend getting them!

The food was pictures perfect with a satisfying crunch, but was somewhat bland and flavorless. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The area was somewhat upscale / business centric.

Ambiance is nice. Located on the ground floor of the plaza development. Staff are friendly but the Cuban sandwich I had was disappointing. No better than most I’ve had in miami. I’ve heard good things so I had high expectations but it was very average, from the bread to the pork to the presentation.
