Delicious fresh small batch ice cream made right in Frenchtown with milk from a local farm. Genuinely some of the best ice cream I have had in New Jersey. Yummy ice cream and great sorbets and vegan choices. Took off one star since there were no nut flavors or coffee flavor.available The honey lavender flavor was amazing and the green apple sorbet was delicious.

As another reviewer previously wrote, the ice cream at Sandy's Scoops is creamy and delicious without being overly sugary. It is a shame that I don't live in the area, because this would be my go-to ice cream place.

Almost the worst quality ice cream I have had the misfortune to taste in New Jersey. Two of us purchased peach and honey lavender on 9/22 and both were marred by a crystalline texture with little bits of ice in the mix. Not the smooth creamy texture of good ice cream. The peach had at best a hint of flavor. The honey lavender wasn't too bad taste wise although it seemed lacking in honey. There are two other ice cream vendors in Lambertville. Both of those are far better with Bucks on Bridge not far away and Owowcow Creamery a bit of a hike but worth the effort. Failing that cross the river and try Moo Hope Ice Cream - somewhat over-priced but good quality.
