Customer Reviews
Soup or salad? Get the tomato soup! Whether it comes with your meal or not, get it! It's amazingly good. You're welcome. Anyway, this is a nice restaurant so wear pants. That's in lieu of wearing shorts of course. It's not over the top fancy but hey, dress nice, capisce? The food? Delizioso. My " Veras Lasagna" wasn't pretty but it made my mouth water. And for good reason. My wife had the "Chicken Marsala" which also was very good. For dessert she enjoyed the "Chocolate Mousse" and I enjoyed the "Chocolate Mousse Cake". So good!
Probably the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. The veal portion was incredibly small and extremely disappointing — it wasn’t battered at all, just thin, soggy, and completely tasteless. The sauce was very watery and lacked flavor. The Caesar dressing tasted more like a garlic dressing than a traditional Caesar. The bread was hard and had an odd taste, including the olive oil served with it. The calamari didn’t come with lemon, which is a basic expectation, and the red sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can. Overall, the biggest letdown was the veal. For an appetizer and one entrée totaling $40 before tip, the quality was nowhere near acceptable.
Love this place. Will be back. May just not order lasagna to go. Portion seems smaller than dinning in. Chicken Parm is amazing and def calamari is a must!
Good Italian food with nice atmosphere. Service was a little slow. I recommend going early to avoid the dinner rush.
The food would have gotten a 5 if the Caesar salad was actually cold and good. The fried oysters with artichoke/spinach over angel hair pasta and butter sauce was DELICIOUS! The server didn't offer the special. I heard the server next to me offer it and stated that it came with a choice of soup or salad. When I asked her about it she told me what it was but didn't tell me about the soup or salad until I asked. Also she didn't tell me what bread was served in the beginning. Other than that- my entree was DELICIOUS
