Wow! The food and service here are incredible. I wish we had bigger appetites so we could keep eating The crispy oysters, shrimp bisque, gnocchi and steak au poivre were all fresh and flavorful I was initially disappointed that the only seating available was at the bar, but I soon realized that we had the best seats in the house. The bar looks directly into the kitchen were we could watch the chefs work their magic and is actually a bit quieter than the rest of the tiny dining area. Make reservations! This place is extremely small We'll definitely be back for more

An out of town guest found this hidden gem online and invited us for dinner here. It’s located in a tiny retail space that has had lots of turnover through the years. You would not expect the taste treat delights that come out of the kitchen. Everything we ordered was top notch and delicious. There are only seats for 25-28 and reservations are recommended. It seems to be staggered seating times- maybe every 15 minutes for dinner. Everything we ordered was perfect. My husband and I split 3 smalls and a bread pudding. See for yourself!

Tiny little place tucked away in Metairie with limited parking but it's not as bad as it might be in Orleans Parish. Very interesting menu that appears to be a very fresh ingredients that changes regularly, the chefs definitely know how to execute good food and everything was cooked and presented quite well. I did find the flavors were a little more on the demure side for my personal tastes, nothing very bold. This place, like its size, is minimalistic. I wish them tremendous success.

Wonderful quaint restaurant in the previous yakuza house location. Rotating menu with a variety of small and large plates to share. Great for intimate gatherings with a small group, there is also 4 bar height seats to watch the magic happen in the kitchen.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Dr. Jones. All three of the small plates we tried were absolute knockouts! The tuna crudo with sungold tomatoes and umeboshi was so bright and fresh, the jumbo lump crab with spaghettini and miso beurre blanc was rich and perfectly balanced, and the crispy oysters with yuzu kosho and fresh herbs were an instant favorite. We especially loved the sauce with the oysters…it tied everything together beautifully. For a larger plate, we went with the shrimp scampi with lemongrass, lime leaf, and pickled chiles and absolutely loved it. We ended with the warm bread pudding with cardamom caramel and pecans, which was delicious. That said, I wished for just a little more…maybe a dollop of whipped cream or even a grilled peach on top would take it from great to unfo
