Sandbar Seafood

Got the fish sandwich and fries. Fish mediocre, threw the bun away (gross). Good amount of food for price. Not very pleasant people. Not one person smiled. Then, sat outside (at their tables) while food being cooked. He come to door and yelled that our food was done for us to walk inside get doggy bags to carry out ourselves. Lol we were the only ones there with no other orders. Wasn't impressed at all.

We were planning on eat at the food trucks at Long Wharf but due to heavy rain they all closed early. Then I found this place on map. They were busy with both walk in and call in orders. There is no place to sit so we had to order to go and bring to hotel. The portions are good, food would be crispier if we could eat right there. We had two combo boxes with fish & claim stripes, shrimps & calamaris. They all tasted very fresh, lightly battered and fried to golden crispy. Kids had hamburger and hot dog kids meals.

I visited The Sandbar about three months ago, and I still can’t stop thinking about the food—and the prices! Both were absolutely amazing. I ordered the flounder and scallop combo, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had. You can immediately tell the oil is kept fresh just by the clean, delicious taste of the food. Everything was incredibly fresh, and to top it all off, the gentleman at the counter was as sweet as can be. If I lived closer, I’d be a regular every single week!

Too small of a potion for $25, taste was good but not worth the price. This was a "Dinner" meal on the menu.

From the outside doesn’t look much and was empty seating is very limited as well and for the warmer months they do have pick nick benches outside. Food fresh and tasty and for $23.50 including a soft drink and 14 large sea scallops coleslaw tartare sauce a great price I think. It’s nothing fancy inside the food sells itself fresh and tasty staff polite and professional. They do have parking as well.
