Sanctuary Vermont

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful and quiet setting. Caitlin and Peter immediately made us feel like welcome friends. The room is private and the common area very inviting to curl up with a book (and one of their 2 very friendly and affectionate cats). We love cats and that was a plus for us. If you don't, you could just shut the bedroom door and they won't bother you. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We really enjoyed sitting at the breakfast table and talking with Caitlin and Peter. When we mentioned that we wanted to do a hike, they suggested a hike to the Pinnacle, which we did with our daughter and thoroughly enjoyed. Such a wonderful experience. It is named well- I felt relaxed, and life slowed while we were at Caitlin and Peter's place, and enjoying their generous company and delicious breakfasts. And of course, their house and gardens are beautiful!

If you are looking from nature, kindness and organic, this is your house. 10 min from Putney, this house surrounded by trees and nature is owned by 2 wonderful hosts, Caitlin and Peter. You won't hear anything but birds and frogs, breathe only fresh air, and eat this wonderful organic breakfast. Highly recommended.

We had been here for the weekend. And it was blissful stay. Both Caitlin and Peter are very warm and welcoming hosts. If you are looking for a stay amidst woods, look no further.
