From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elevated and welcoming — modern American cuisine done with confidence and creativity. Hands down my new favorite spot in Gainesville! My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Not only did the owner Tony come over to personally congratulate us, he made us the most delicious drinks! The staff also all signed an adorable card for my girlfriend and I. The food being amazing was just an additional bonus. We came for the food, but we were blown away by the hospitality and amazing customer service by everyone who helped us tonight. Our server had a great sense of humor, I wish we recalled his name to shout him out personally. But to our server who said not many places know how to make a proper salmon, you were right. OMG OMG OMG the food was off the chain. We had never been there before and was nervous. We wanted to go someplace new and close and it ended up being the perfect place to eat. My guys and I took a long time looking at the menu but finally made a choice, I got the classic smash burger with added feta cheese and truffle fries, my guy got a half order of Brussel sprouts, crab cakes and steak bites, all fabulous choices. I hate Brussel sprouts and when I saw them it was the most beautiful plate of food I ever saw and had to have a small bite. The steak bites I even had to try. I went there last year and can still remember the wonderful experience I had dining and dancing at this establishment. Although I did not take the chance to try the dinner, every plate that passed by smelled and looked incredibly appetizing. I did enjoy a deliciously rich chocolate peanut butter tart recommended by Micah. The experience wouldn't have been the same without the expert knowledge of Gina, who was able to surprise us with cocktails based on my friends and I were feeling and give us information on how the ingredients were chosen for our drinks!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sanctuary on the Square First time here — and honestly, how have we waited this long?! 🤯 We started with the to-die-for Brussels sprouts with goat cheese… OMG. I would come back for those alone. 🔥 My husband ordered the patty melt (classic, perfectly done), and I had the S&S signature salad with steak and truffle fries — every single bite was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Can’t believe this spot has been here for a while and we’re just now discovering it, but safe to say we’ll be back very soon. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried it
