First time coming to the Cairo location, and it will be my last. Wanted to spend a nice evening by going out to eat and was left severely disappointed. The waitress only checked on us once after she brought us our food. The prices we paid for this disappointing food was ridiculous. As an "appetizer" we ordered cheese dip. It was so thick and lumpy, almost as if someone took leftover cheese and put it in a bowl and served it. The basket of chips was incredibly tiny. Not like any other Mexican restaurant I've been to. Got the chicken floutas and it was so bland. Almost like if canned chicken was used. Also, they added a charge of $2.24 on the check with absolutely no explanation as to what it was for. Will be finding a different Mexican restaurant from now on.

This was the worst dining experience of my life! I am NOT exaggerating and I don't even know how this is possible without it being deliberate! First, before our meal even arrived, just with the salsa and chips, my son pulled hair out of his mouth. Then the meal came, and my son’s rice and cheese tasted just like an ashtray! I kid you not! He asked me to taste it to see if I tasted the same thing and I had to spit it into a napkin! All the while the staff was laughing! Now, move on to the grilled chicken with cheese sauce and flour shells; yes, my son doesn't order off the menu. He fills one shell with chicken and cheese sauce, eats it, and yep, pulls out another hair! He goes to fill the next shell, I'm watching, and I see a clump, yes, I said clump, of hair! We are done by this point. We

This is my second trip. When alone the first time. This time there were four of us. It was obvious our server didn't care to be working or maybe he was just having a bad night. Just seemed disinterested. After we ordered the first plate came out in about 15 minutes. The second plate was another 6 minutes. The third plate was about 6 minutes and the last one took another 10. This is simply unacceptable. One of the items was listed on the menu to have beans. It came with meat. Another thing that was ordered was requested to only have beans. It was only meat (again, the kid was disinterested so wasn't paying attention). My street tacos were good just like they were last time. Iv may give them one more chance but that'll be it.

Best Mexican I had in years! Especially liked the tasty shredded chicken in my burritos; I wish I could prepare them like this. Service was fast and friendly, great prices, everything perfect! Next time I’m anywhere near I’ll make detour to come again.

Ordered take out for lunch. Worst looking chimichanga I’ve ever had and on top of that it was supposed to be chicken. Me and two other coworkers all ordered food. The girl who answered the phone and took our order mumbled so bad into the phone we had to ask her to repeat herself 3 different times. The person picking up our food was given $16 cash but still had to pay $12 on their card for their part. $4.50 for chorizo cheese dip, $6.99 chimichanga lunch special, and $9.99 wings. We were over charged almost $5. This was my first and most likely last experience with San Marcos. Very disappointing.
