San Marcos Authentic Mexican Restaurant

We stopped here in our way to Tupelo from the gulf shore. The best shrimp fajita nachos in the country! Loved the beautiful table tops and bar stools with Mexican artwork! A must for anyone passing through! Thanks so much!

From the moment we sat down it was rudeness! The waitress plopped the chips and salsa down in front of us, no greeting just chips and menus, and walks away. 10 minutes later the guy who sat us comes back to take our order. I asked for coke in the glass bottle, he didn't even know if they carried it (seriously?) When our order arrives she says something couldn't understand her because she didn't speak English which you already know how I feel about that! She basically throws the plates down in front of us not saying one word about the plate being HOT! In fact it was so hot I burned my fingers. Their cheese tastes like plastic, the only thing I half way liked was the chips and salsa. Neither one of us took a doggie bag it was that bad, when a customer leaves 3/4 of their meal uneaten theres

By far the best Mexican restaurant in Meridian. Taco Tuesdays are the best! As a native Texan, this place has the best queso here in Meridian! A family owned restaurant always has the best staff!

My husband brother was visiting so we decided to try we thought was new to us Mexican food. Little did we know it was one of our favorite servers from years ago, which he now owns his own restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. It was fabulous. Please try. I know you’ll be happy. Nice to see people actually hustling to serve you with a smile.!!!!!

Food was terrible. I had a grilled steak quesadilia and my husband had tamales. Both of our food tasted old like leftovers. The steak was not grilled and smelled old. Not recommended!
