San Juan Mexican Restaurant

Long story short... We were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. This was not it. My husband, kids and I went here hoping to have a good experience like some of the reviews for this place described. However it was very loud due to some kind of really large gathering at one of the tables in the middle of all the booths. It was a mess getting to our booth, passed everyone standing around and to the restroom and back. My baby got elbowed once we were heading out. After being seated we waited 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. It wasn't so busy that our party of 7 could have just been forgotten. All our meals came at different times. When the waiter was asked to get us more chips, for all 7 of us we only received two baskets and no salsa. We waited more than ten minut

First time ordering and they gave me meat that is over cooked and dried out. They were recommended; never again. And it was another lady waiting to order and she complained about how they ignored her. These people need to close their kitchen serving the garbage that they call food. I'm very disappointed; after they were recommended. I paid good money for garbage, but the food they showcase on line looks as if it is cooked really well.

I enjoy to eat here because it’s the best I eat eating Greatest Great service and friendly for all kind family.

Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the food we tried. The food lacked flavor overall for our tastebuds. I had the steak tacos, and the meat was overcooked and too fatty, which made it tough to enjoy. We tried the ramen birria, and it was underwhelming. It didn’t live up to the hype or expectations. However, there was one highlight— the sangria. It was well-made, strong and refreshing.

Absolutely the BEST food!!! It was so easy to call and place our most recent order by phone, and it was correct and ready when we arrived to pick it up. We met Joe for the first time and he did a great job taking our order and checking it to make sure it was correct before we left. He was also generous and made sure to include lots of delicious tortilla chips for our yummy guacamole and orders of cheesy queso. We look forward to going back soon.
