San Jose Bakery

Someone from work recommended this place for their tamales so I went over board and order 2 dozen. Well….they have flavor but no meat(pork is cheaper) come on! $2.50 each just for masa?

A variety of mostly Mexican bakery goods and cakes. I saw a man puking up a sheet cake with awesome decorative features today and it reminded me that the rest of the city who have never been here need to check out

I bought some tamales because I was craving them, hoping they would be delicious, but to my surprise, they were really stale. They left a terrible taste in my mouth and could be harmful to my stomach. I recommend that when you buy them, you smell the product first. It sounds strange, but that's the only way you'll know if they're fresh, and if they're not, don't buy them.

If you are white And going to this place bring a brown person that speaks Spanish. I have been over changed every time i have come here. My wife who is PR purchased the exact same thing I did and was charged less than me. Be sure to ask for the explanation of the charges. I watched a customer have his charges posted on the screen and when I bought my purchase they did not show the same screen so I could see the price. The clerk thought I did not understand Spanish and said some derogatory words. I won’t go back to this place ever again. Oh by the way the food and breads are amazing and it actually hurts me not to support local businesses. I just can’t condone overcharging for your skin color.

Best tres leches cake. Design on top was beautiful. HUGE concha’s for just $1. 10/10 will be a returning customer
