Samurai Sushi – A Rejuvenating Asian Feast in Alaska After a long day of exploring Alaska, we were craving something comforting and flavorful—Samurai Sushi delivered exactly that. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, setting the tone for a great dining experience. Our party of seven was seated right away, and the service remained friendly and attentive throughout. We ordered a variety of dishes including the salmon teriyaki bento box, tuna and salmon sashimi, chirashi, galbi, and tempura udon. Every dish was satisfying, but the standout was the incredibly fresh, thick-cut sashimi that melted in our mouths. loved this place! i got the tiger eye roll, and my husband got the chicken yakosoba. everything was absolutely delicious! the waitress was very nice and timely as well. loved the music and atmosphere. they have a reward system as well that after 6 visits you can get a free tempora or gyoza! they also provide a military discount! we will definitely be back!

We went here tonight and loved it. The vibe was very chill. The service was good. They had one server but she handled it. The owner seemed very cool and real. The sushi bar is the star of the show. We order the rainbow roll dinner, samurai roll and veggie tempura (not pictured). My husband and I enjoyed all of it! Their sauces are homemade. The fish was fresh. I got a hoodie. 😊

I’ve loved Samurai in the past. Don’t get me wrong. And I’ll admit, I also love DoorDash when you want to have a lazy day. So I was told by the owner of Samurai last time I was dining in to just call for delivery instead of DoorDash because the prices are cheaper. I didn’t know they delivered, so today I thought I’d give it a shot. So it’s just me, I was going to get a roll and an appetizer. Then I was told it was a $40 minimum for delivery. That’s fine, I added a roll that would be good for later. So I’m told my total and in my head I’m like sweet, I’ll have a decent tip for the driver (I was paying full in cash) but then I was told there was a delivery fee.. I thought that was fine too. But I only had a total of $60 cash on me. So he wanted my cash total that I would be giving the drive

We had such a warm welcome walking into Samurai Sushi. My husband ordered the sushi/sashimi combo—everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. I went with the Korean chirashi, and honestly, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Anchorage. It was packed with fresh vegetables, full of flavor, and refreshingly light without a ton of unnecessary salt. Healthy, satisfying, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
