Good value at a neighborhood byob. Decor is basic but in keeping with the overall vibe. Outdoor seating in summer. Waitresses tend to be robotic and not overly friendly. Broad menu.

Ordered takeout from Samurai, my Salmon sashimi came completely frozen and inedible. This place clearly isn’t using fresh fish for their sushi. I won’t be ordering from here again

Good. Tried the Hoso Maki which was beautiful and delicious and the Hamachi Lovers Special. The latter was good but could have been fresher and better presented. The whitefish tiradito was beautiful but I felt it was a bit dry. The beer was not served in a chilled glass. The sake was not warm enough and the waitress did not pour it. Only one soy sauce option on the table. Little details that they could improve. But they were friendly and prompt.

We LOVE Samurai but the service is just TERRIBLE. One waitress for the whole place who also has to fulfill tens of online orders! What happened to you Samurai? Waited for our food while it was hanging on the shelf for 20 min. The service has declined so much recently. What a shame, we will not be back!!

I recently dined here and it was an excellent experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including seafood kimchee soup, mango shrimp sushi, and a bento box. Everything was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The seafood kimchee soup had the perfect balance of flavors, and the mango shrimp sushi was a delightful combination of sweet and savory. The bento box was a well-rounded meal with a variety of tasty options. What added to the overall enjoyment of the meal was the friendly hostess. She was welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and warm hospitality.
