Great local spot in East Hampton with a friendly vibe. Good classic Italian food and very reasonable.

The milanese was really really good and everyone at my party enjoyed what they ordered. Would highly recommend to stop by if you are in East Hampton.

We recently ordered takeout from Sam's in East Hampton, and it was outstanding. The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was full of flavor. The service was equally impressive — friendly, efficient, and attentive, even with takeout. Everything was ready right on time, and the staff made the entire process easy and welcoming. Highly recommend Sam's for a great meal and top-notch service, whether you're dining in or taking out!

This is a place that's been open since 1947. The decor looks like it too, but the food is solid. We came here at around 9 and there was still a 40 min wait. The people were great people. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza which had shrimp, crab meat, pesto, gargonzola, and garlic. The smell when it first came out of the oven was hypnotizing. The taste was solid. Could use a little more shrimp but it was good. Would come back here again

What a disappointment! We arrived at 7:45pm and seated without a long wait on Thursday before Memorial weekend. We thought we were very lucky. Then everything went south. We waited 15 min. No one came to our table. We asked the hostess and were told a waitress should be here soon. Waited another 10 min. We almost left but we were too hungry and too tired at that point, so decided to stay. Finally a waitress came and told us NO ONE TOLD HER WE WERE THERE. This is not the smallest restaurant but not a big restaurant. She knows her section and could easily glance over.
