Sammy's Cafe

For an old bobs big boy, it's kept in very good shape! Comfortable place with good food, good prices. I just had an egg bacon waffle brkfst. Very good waffles! My BF had their Sunday lunch buffet. $20, was simple, but flavorful! I got a bite of their pork Verde, delicious! He was happy with it. Very kind & attentive service as well! I'd definitely go back Oh They still have big boy out front!

I just tried Sammy's Cafe in Calimesa. I had the pot roast with vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn bread. The roast was tender and delicious, mashed potatoes and gravy with a good potato flavor and meaty tasting brown gravy, the colorful vegetables were cooked perfectly and tasted great! The corn bread was moist with good flavor. Serving size on the senior dinner was generous. My father-in-law had a generous portion of seasoned salmon with the same sides I had chosen, also from the senior menu. Sammy's is not in a major shopping center, but is easy to get to and worth going to for a great dining experience.

We had a great early dinner with huge portions, fast and friendly service and fair prices! We had the Buffalo Chicken Caesar salad, a bowl of chili and the Turkey gravy and mashed potato’s dinner. It was a Thanksgiving feast! We love this place and we recommend it to all the locals of Calimesa and everyone passing by on the freeway! Easy on and off access with lots of parking! Try it!!!

We had timely service. The food tasted good. I had steak piccado chilliquillas with eggs. Over all good experience.

This café is the best around! They have a buffet style brunch that goes in until around 2pm. They also have a room suitable for a large party, which I thought was very cool, there was a party sitting in during the time that I was at the restaurant and they sounded like they were having a great time. The seating areas all bring a different vibe. I went into the restaurant to visit a good friend, shout out to Anna! However, she wasn’t there and so I had a server named Laura! I’m so thankful to have been attended by her because she was so friendly, constantly kept a smile on her face, and she was very attentive. I was greeted by staff right away when I sat down, great teamwork! They did a wonderful job with pre-bussing our table. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas, the shrimp was cut into bite
