Lucid Coffee

As a Thai person, I was very excited to try this place when I passed by. Unfortunately, it did not taste like Thai tea at all. If you want it to taste like authentic Thai tea, please don’t salted syrup—Thai tea is made with condensed milk and/or evaporated milk.

We loved Lucid so much the first time we visited that we’ve been back every week since then! Drinks - the coffee here is very different than your average chain Starbucks or other equivalent. They show a real understanding for how to make the flavors of your drink shine whether it be through the beans or through their homemade syrups. I honestly believe you can taste the heart and passion that goes into your drink here. Plus the flavors are so unique and well balanced. Service - the staff here have always been welcoming and patient when it comes to questions regarding their drinks or beans. I’ve learned a lot about the art of coffee making and really appreciate how they’ll work with me to change up a drink to fit my desires. If I could give Lucid Roasters 10 stars, I would! Their coffee is top-tier—bold, flavorful, and consistently excellent. The orange cardamom is my absolute favorite—unique, perfectly balanced, and something I genuinely look forward to every time I stop in. The staff? Absolutely amazing. Friendly, attentive, and they always remember your name and your go-to drink. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for a quick coffee break or a relaxed catch-up with a friend. I’m here 3–4 times a week, and it’s easily one of the best parts of my routine. Highly recommend to any coffee lover!.

Went to grab some pastries and decided to try a coffee while I was there. I asked if they have the option to make drinks with half and half the barista said yes but they won’t steam the half and half for a hot drink which I found odd. Been to many TRADITIONAL coffee shops that steam half and half. So I decided to get an iced latte without ice made with half and half. I’m a traditional girl that doesn’t like the sweet coffees I like to taste my coffee. Unfortunately the espresso they use has a weird after taste almost like a burnt kick. I had my son try it when I got home to see what he thought (mind you I said nothing to him just to get an honest opinion) his reaction was “this taste odd” I agreed. Amazing menu of specialty drinks. I settled on a sage honey latte, this time. I’ll definitely be back to try the salted Thai tea and the orange cardamom latte and everything else. They share the spot with a bakery which was also phenomenal. What a gem!
