Since we were staying right down the street from this restaurant, we decided to walk there for dinner. We were glad we decided to walk since the parking lot was full. The majority of our party got seafood entrees, which everyone enjoyed. We also tried the chicken and burger both were good. We did not care for the seasoning on the green beans but everything else was good. Connie was our server and she was extremely friendly. We had a great time talking to her. We also tried the restaurant for breakfast. The food was tasty but not piping hot. The biscuits were delicious. We went early and it did get extremely crowded while we were there.

Awesome place for simple easy meals. Hatteras Chowder is the best, has me hooked years ago! Crab cake was all crab - no cake! Awesome! Fries are great! Awesome sweet tea. Well run establishment - 88 years. This is what OBX is about!

Great long time local spot! Food is delicious. The seafood tastes like it came straight out of the ocean. Portions are large. Service is excellent as well. This place just has an old school laid back vibe to it. Definitely worth a visit!

It has been decades since we last ate here & it has only gotten better!! We arrived at lunch time and, though busy, were seated right away. Our server & our food were both excellent. We ordered She Crab soup, which we had never had; it was only lukewarm, but tasted okay. I got a regular cheeseburger, which was served with fries. It was truly one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. The restaurant was extremely festive for Christmas, adding a great deal to the happy atmosphere. I’m just disappointed that this was our last day of vacation, but it’s on our list for our next visit.

Very casual and great food! Staff was friendly and the manager lady said "later tater tot" after I got my late night to go order lol😆She was funny, I liked her. 🙂Don't ask for to go orders when busy or late night! LoL just kidding. I'm 1 for 2 on that but she obliged😊 Sitting by the window and looking at the pier is a pleasant view. I had the broiled Flounder dinner to go late-night, which was cooked perfect! Green beans seasoned just right, corn bread light n fluffy. Came back for the soup and flounder sandwich, which was a yummy mid day treat. I got a flat tire right as I pulled out the parking lot onto the main road, so I'm glad I enjoyed a nice lunch 1st! If you like to stroll the pier, add Sam & Omies to your routine when you're "down that way." 🙂🍤🥣🐟🍔🍰 It's a good place to stop in, Go
