SALTwater Harborside Dining

I went to the bar and was greeted by the bartender Janette. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the area. Janette was not only very kind she made me feel very comfortable with interesting conversation and the best drinks I have had in a long time. I would come visit her again.

I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was really good! Our waitress was attentive and kind. The prices aren’t too bad for the area so I’d definitely come here for a good lunch :) and I was jammin to the music so 10/10 just for whoever had the aux cord!

Honestly a great cozy breakfast spot right at the bottom of the hotel which makes it super convenient if your trying to get something to eat either first thing in the morning or at the end of your night, the food is also super good so you can't go wrong with anything you pick!

Slow. Slow. Slow. There is a reason that this place is a quiet restaurant in the middle of the busiest tourist part of Newport. The food isn't good. Small menu that is expensive even for the tourist area. Salad with chicken was $15. Small portion with few of the strawberries and other goodies that were supposed to be in it. Hamburgers are $18. Soup was good at $9. Oh and they charged me $2 for the bread I requested. Seating is on the water and pretty. Not sure why the service was so slow. They had lots of waiters and not that many customers. Trust me. Go somewhere else.

We stopped in for drinks and the staff could not have been more awesome. John was our bartender, and he was attentive and made our visit with his sense of humor.
