Saltwater Grille

Amazing. We walked in and the bar alone, made me gasp lol it's a beautiful spot, right on the water. The nighttime view of the skyline was wonderful to look at while enjoying the meal. Ordered the calamari and 9 oysters, all delicious. Stuffed haddock and the pesce pasta 😍 I'm serious, treat yourself to some incredible food. Bartender was so so nice and very sweet, even though we came in kinda late (I always feel bad doing that) so thank you! If we get to visit Portland again, we will definitely be coming back 💜 (Not shown is the turtle cheesecake and carrot cake we got to go and were very good as well! Not what I expected, it's an Italian cheesecake, delicious!!)

The views were absolutely beautiful, and everything we ordered was delicious! The oysters were so fresh, and the stuffed lobster was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My daughter had the chicken fingers, and they were surprisingly good too! The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🦞🦪🌊✨

We’re so glad we found this amazing restaurant! We have to do searches for food while on vacation based on gluten free availability. I have celiac disease and it’s not always easy to find a safe place to eat. This restaurant provided an extensive menu to include gluten free choices on practically everything on the menu. What a relief! Our waiter, Katie, was amazing and took time to explain the menu to us. She told us that the owner’s mother had had celiac and that he had modeled the recipes and menu to accommodate her and others who suffer from Celiac. I was hooked! My husband had the fisherman’s platter and I had fish & chips. All was wonderful. We were “forced” to order from the dessert menu and our cake was to die for!! Overall wonderful experience that we’d gladly repeat if in the area

If you enjoy quality food, , clean everything, greated quickly with great customer service, real smiles , the people that work here,, genuinely care about there business, they work together to provide a memorable dining experience, with a warm up beat gorgeous views, in the summer / weather permitting they have out door seating, literally over the ocean, with views of maines prestige views docks, ocean boats, big n small, the bridge, and bay, the city across a special area i collected sea glass.. great for casual, business or fancy with a large array of seating sunlight, the views are gorgeous.. They take reservations, and also have seasonal menu changes so if you dont see what you like call up and ask what's new..I went alone and totally giving them a 5 star review .

The location was interesting as it seemed to be the only restaurant in the area surrounded by fish docks and warehouse looking things. Does not take from the experience one bit, we sat on the deck/dock and the sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Service was good, had to ask for refills a couple times but our server was covering a lot of tables so can’t fault her for that. The burgers were very good and the patties were huge even for the kids cheeseburger. The oysters I ordered were local and great quality, definitely could tell they were fresh. My steamed lobster was delicious, also could tell it was fresh.
