Saltwater Grill

My boyfriend recommended Saltwater Grill for our two year anniversary lunch, i’ve lived in swansboro for awhile now but haven’t tried this restaurant yet, safe to say it was an amazing choice and first experience here!! I ordered a key lime martini and wow, it was so good! Our server was awesome and super attentive, i had a bunch of questions which he had no problem explaining, amazing customer service! For lunch my boyfriend ordered shrimp and grits and i ordered chicken tacos. Our food came out very quickly and everything down to the sides was just so yummy, kudos to the chef! For dessert we got the key lime pie and i can safely say i’ve never had one as good as theirs. I will happily recommend this place to anyone, everything was amazing and we will definitely be back soon! Thank you t

The views are very nice. The food was really tasty; the chef did a really nice job with our meal. It's a good place for a date night. During the summer season, I'm sure parking is much more challenging as space(parking) is relatively limited. We enjoyed our visit, will definitely be back, & encourage others to try it out.

This place is a hidden gem. The menu simple and under stated. Every bite is delightful. She crab soup better than most offerings in Charleston (Savannah girl, know what I am talking about) We enjoyed Chef Eric’s broccoli and cheddar soup, absolutely delicious! One of the best I have had in my 70 years. The shrimp scampi is another level. Yum! The quality of “good”rivals Michelin establishments. Kitchen knows what it is doing! Service could use some tweaking. Leaving dirty dishes and glasses through the meal, putting down the check while still eating, etc. Mostly education issues. Server was friendly, just not familiar with the “rules” of service. Chef Eric is a special addition visiting with diners, genuine interests in feedback. He is a real added value! 28 years vacationing in EI, and this was our first time dining at Saltwater Grill. Reservations are highly recommended during peak season. Atmosphere was great due to having outdoor seating overlooking the water with mid 70s temps. Service was good. Food was good, but not the best that I've had on the island. Appetizers: Crab Dip was OK and we tried the Alligator Bites for the first time. They were interesting but would not order again at any restaurant. Salads: I was really disappointed in the Ranch dressing. Such a nice establishment should have homemade Ranch dressing, not Hidden Valley bottle Ranch. I can eat it, but I complain about it. Entrees: Seafood Platter- good, Fried Shrimp- good, Salmon- good, Yellow Fin Tuna- good and Blackened Chicken with Butter Caper Sauce ... chicken- goo

Food was amazing per the usual! Our waiter was also very nice! I would highly recommend this place for a date night. Good service, good food, with an amazing atmosphere.
