If you love old seafood markets, this one is for you! It’s right on the water where they catch the shrimp off of, and it just feels like a staple of the town. Gentlemen was very helpful inside and even put ice in our car cooler to keep the fish cold on our way back up to Wilmington. The ahi we had was phenomenal. I wish we lived closer because I would be there every week! Oh and our dog loved it as well! :)

My old friend Clyde Phillips who's seafood shop is just ten minutes from my house, often seems to read my mind when I visit his shop between the two bridges in Swansboro. All I have to do is ask, "What's your recommendation today?" and I know I am going to have a great meal when I get home. The fish that Clyde displays upon the ice in his counter is always fresh, clean, and quality cut. He knows his product... and as long as I have been coming to the shop between the bridges... has has always known what would serve up the best. There' just something magical... old days of the sea about that little shop. It's not fancy... but far more important it's real... and it is steeped in heritage. It is as it has long been a critical part of our community of Hubert, Stella, Bear Creek, Swansboro

It doesn't get any fresher than this!!! Loved coming to a friendly atmosphere that feels like home. They clean the fish and fillet it for you on the spot 😊 This is a lost art. Shop local and support small businesses.

This was the first and last time I will shop there. When we stopped by the jumbo shrimp looked great so we bought 2 lbs. When we got home we realized they put small and medium shrimp on the bottom and jumbo on top!!! So for $9.99 a lb. we got 1 lb. of small medium and 1 pound of jumbo. I am surprised they have been in business so long! I did learn a good lesson, open up and inspect what you are getting!!!
