Sal's Pizza & Pasta

What’s not to like about Sal’s???? Just finished having yet another delicious dinner tonight. We’ve been eating amazing food here for years and should have expressed our views long time ago. We live in California and have a vacation house in Connecticut. We’ve had Italian food everywhere but always anxiously look forward to coming back to Sal’s for the following reasons: 1- Excellent food 👍 best cheese pizza (the tangy tomato sauce 😋) best pastas (try linguine with clams in olive oil and garlic sauce 😋) the delicious bread makes their sub sandwiches outstanding and honestly everything else on the menu is 😋. 2- unbelievable prices, where can you possibly eat so well for so little?? If you love house made, large portions, and bold garlic flavor then Sal's is the place for you. The home made cannolis were the best we've ever tasted!

Worth a stop at this delightful restaurant! Found it on a whim and so glad we did! Appetizer of mixed antipasto was a hit...combo of hot peppers, mushrooms, olives, Italian meats, cheese! Pizza was delicious... crust was perfect as were toppings and sauce! Menu also includes grinders, pasta dishes and some entrees. Service was great... very attentive wait staff...both friendly servers kept checking on us! All around great place for a quick bite or a relaxing meal!

Excellent service, the atmosphere so beautiful. Our calzone was more than enough for two(we brought home half of it). The soups were delicious, perfect for a cold winter day, 1) spinach and 2)lentil-barley. Definitely we'll go back one day!

Good food decent atmosphere waitress never came back to check on us to see if we enjoyed our meal. The server was a snot. Will not return
