My family and I came to Sala Thai on a rainy evening, however the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made us feel welcomed and warm. We had a reservation so it was easy for us to get seated at our table, but walk-ins would be fine if it is not packed. The workers are extremely friendly and kind and the service is fast with getting us our food. We ended up ordered tom yum, chicken fried rice, green curry, and shrimp salad. The food was definitely up to my expectations, but it was nothing out of this world. For desert, my sister and I ended up ordering the mango sticky rice, which comes with one half of a sliced mango, white rice with coconut custard on top, and some whipped cream on the side. I enjoyed this as I have a sweet tooth but I did wish the mango was more sweet and juicy, but that
Monday lunch, 90s pop playlist in the background. Summer rolls were crisp and well complemented with the sauce. Main course sautéed eggplant with chicken was delicious. Staff is a bit shy but attentive on demand. A nice lunch experience overall. Tip is included with the meal.
The service was good. The food was even better. So flavorful and delicious. Went for Happy Hour and were the only ones for a short time. Got a window seat with a great view outside. I will return to try their Thai spicy.
I got the Sala Thai Siam. It was minced chicken and shrimp with basil leaves and peppers. I got it Thai hot and it was pretty spicy (which I loved). The service was quick and attentive, I would totally go back. Cutest spice rack I ever seen.
Group of friends enjoyed a tasty lunch. The spring rolls appetizer was served hot and crisp and filled with shredded veggies. The cellophane noodles salad with 2 large shrimp and plenty of minced chicken in a chili lime sauce included enough spice to make a tasty but not overheated dish. Others reported the papaya salad and the pork pad Thai were tasty down to the last bite.
