Sakuratani Ramen & Izakaya

If you’re craving authentic Japanese cuisine, Sakuratani Ramen & Izakaya is truly top-notch! I actually started writing this review after just the appetizers — that’s how impressed and happy I was on my very first visit. The food is incredibly clean, fresh, and full of flavor, and everything was presented beautifully and served in a timely manner. You can taste the care and authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere is simple yet charming, with thoughtful, authentic touches that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy spot in Japan. Even the music playlist added to the experience — upbeat, enjoyable, and perfectly suited to the vibe. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

What a great meal, had the flamingo (fried. Cheeses in a roll) and chicken ramen. Both were incredible. Service was great, very cute inside and I’ll be back soon!

The best Japanese restaurant in Rhode Island! The atmosphere was very relaxing, the service was great and last but not least the food was amazing, it reminds me of my days in mainland Japan. Definitely recommend!

Such wonderful food and fantastic staff. Overheard we were celebrating a birthday and brought us a beautiful tempura cheesecake! Best ramen in RI by a long shot. Plenty of options in Boston, Orlando, and LA, but this is my #1 spot up here. Will not disappoint.

One of my favorite places in Bristol and one of the best additions to this town. Food is consistently delicious and the staff is always super nice. This place is so cozy and their ramen is top notch.
