Sakura Sushi

My review is based on take out only. I was in the mood for Japanese food and wanted to try Sakura Sushi on Triangle Rd, so I placed my order over the phone and it was ready when promised in 20 minutes. Sakura Sushi has a large menu, including a kids menu. There is something for everyone. I ordered their Sushi Dinner- 10 pieces of various sushi, and a Spicy Tuna Roll. It came with Miso Soup, and Green Salad with Ginger Dressing. I also ordered their Valentine Roll-Spicy Tuna, Crunch, Avocado inside,Spicy Tuna Outside. Everything I ordered was delicious. The Miso soup had seaweed and tofu in it. It was warm and comforting. The Green Salad was fresh and crisp not watery like some other places, and oh that Ginger Dressing made the salad. So glad we found this place. So much bad sushi around here in NJ, but this place makes up for all that. Just when we were about to give up on good sushi in NJ, we found Sakura. Small mom and pop restaurant with some amazing sashimi. They have a new Fan.

This is defiantly going to be my new go to sushi place. The sushi pizza was so great I loved it and the shrimp fried rice was exactly what I wanted! I also had the lobster special roll which I was pleasantly surprised by and the pinky dragon roll that was a great classic. I’ll defiantly be back when I am craving sushi. The service was very good and you could tell that everyone was a very happy customer.

My family and I have been coming to Sakura since we moved to Hillsborough 12 years ago. Consistently good sushi. Highly recommended.

Parents: You can eat inside, there are some items kids might enjoy, (i.e. noodles and rice). It was good! I didn’t give it a five because I thought the shrimp tempura roll was more expansive but least flavorful. Best California roll ever! Wasabi was fresh and I LOVED the Kani salad. I don’t like mayo, and she customized it for me. It was fresh, and delicious for the most part.
