Sakura Japanese Steak House

We tried this hibachi for the first time with our daughter. The atmosphere is always fun, entertaining and silly with the throwing of food and egg cracking. Workers are helpful, and the food was fresh. It can get busy. The only negatives I’d say is for one we asked for medium well for our toddler and the steak was pretty raw. Also, the cooks a little pushy on those who kept saying no and didn’t want to take part.

The food was delicious and it was a nice evening and experience for all of us ladies, younger and older alike. We all have different tastes to say the least. There were 4 adults and 3 tweens. We enjoyed the food being prepared by the chefs. Their professionalism and friendly vibes were in full supply. We had a couple who were also at our table. Those table mates weren't very impressed and basically complained about everything. The chef took it in stride. He was very expressive and animated, and exchanged pleasantries with our young tweens at our table. As for thar other couple, I dont think they're headed to the altar anytime soon...

The soda and Shirley Temple tasted like chlorine and the soup tasted like chlorine and the seafood tasted like it took a little while to get to town. I don’t live close, but I’m not really impressed

Excellent service. My husband and I visited tonight with our toddler. It was our daughter's first hibachi experience and the staff was very helpful. The chef was attentive to details in that he took the time to cut her food into smaller bites, which was much appreciated.

This is the place I go when I have a craving for sushi and don’t want to go somewhere too far away. Is it the best sushi out there in CT? No, but it’s always fresh and really doesn’t disappoint too much. I never had a problem with the food or service I think they do a really good job here. They even accommodated me for my white fish allergy. I would recommend you get the sushi combo platter, bento box, or the fried ice cream (for dessert).
