Sakura Japanese Steak House

I have ordered take out from Sakura several times and it always hits the spot. Because the restaurant is a repurposed Taco Bell (and still maintains that sweet 1990s Taco Bell architecture), it is incredibly convenient to swing through the drive-thru and collect fresh made hibachi and sushi. One of our favorite dishes is the house fried rice, well made and packed with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Easy to share while trying a bunch of other dishes. The restaurants pickup times have always been spot on, with our food being served hot. Portions are generous and prices are more than reasonable.

The only complaints I could raise are minor, whilst the food was amazing, and the price less than I expected. Great place to eat, especially if you're waiting on the tire shop across the road. It would be nice if the bathroom door had a coat peg installed on its interior, though.

3.5. Decent for take-out sushi, although it feels small because its 6 pieces per roll. Each roll was very protein heavy, which partly made up for only getting 6 pieces. Flavor was great and fish tasted fresh. You have to order on an app for pickup. It said our order would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived on time, and it then took an additional 15 minutes to get our food. They added in free mochi for the wait which we appreciated! Would try it out and give them a chance again.

Delicious Delicious DELICIOUS!!!!!! Went to Sakura today early afternoon before Eagles Cowboys game because all the places in Haddonfield and Cherry Hill were packed - whenever I pass Sakura on the pike it never looks crowded and that is solely because the locals utilize the drive through window which is a holdover from the previous Taco Bell - so I went in and right off the bat I was ecstatic that all their lunch specials are 7 days a week which is a big deal compared to all the other places in the vicinity - I ordered the 3 maki roll lunch which at $13 is an insanely good deal - the tuna avocado roll is firmly packed with a generous portion of tuna and very fresh avocado - the jalapeño yellowtail roll was crispy and tastes like the fish just came out of the ocean - my third roll was shr

This is the only place in the area that you can place an order over the phone and go pick it up at the drive-through. This is like an old Taco Bell building and all you have to do is just pull around to the window and I’ll see you. This is not to be confused with the other Sakura place in Belmar. This place is way better and more affordable and you get way more food.
