It’s very delicious! The udon and chicken fried rice are great value for the price, and the sushi is of excellent quality. Our kids loved the food and ate so well! I took the picture after we had almost finished eating, so it doesn’t look that great — but the food was actually really delicious!
I found this place by a chance and it's incredible! The food is cheap but very good quality and delicious. I just ordered the udon noodle soup, and it was the best I've tasted. There's a lot of sushi options as well, definitely will try those too. I highly recommend checking this out! Edit: Tried the sushi as well, the california rolls are amazing for the price :)
What a feast! Wonderful selection and variety of sushi rolls! Innovation selections. We had one that was served on a flaming plate that actually heated the rolls which was delicious. Fast friendly service too. Will return on my next visit to Louisville!
This was my second visit to Sakura blue. The service here both times has been wonderful. The first time I was meeting a group and arrived late. They expressed my lunch which was very thoughtful. This time, there was a mix up with my sushi roll, that was quickly fixed. We ordered the sunset roll and added spicy mayo and wasabi sauce. I love the citrus with the salmon on this roll and no cream cheese 🙌. I love the presentation of the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the pork in it was delicious. I found the broth to be very bland though. My husband ordered Korean Bulgogi. He said it’s not as good as the Korean restaurant 🤦♀️. I’m excited to go back to try the other types of ramen.
I always enjoy my visits to Sakura Blue. It's a cozy little spot in the same strip mall as the Trader Joe's, between them and Honey Baked Ham on Shelbyville Road. They give generous portions. I usually get their Bento Box A which comes with miso soup, and a ginger salad with a yummy salad dressing, and six pieces of a California sushi roll. The bento box itself includes two gyoza, tempura veggies, tempura shrimp, two grilled shrimp skewers, steamed rice, and hibachi chicken or chicken. It's a lot of tasty food and you'll probably have some to take home!
