Sakehouse Bluffton Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

First time dining here and thoroughly impressed. The miso soup, ginger salad, and spicy combo sushi platter were excellent, with mochi for dessert and chicken fried rice to go. Miss Ruby provided attentive, knowledgeable service. A great experience overall.

Food was not bad for the price paying for. There is a fountain with fish in it, which is a nice view to see and for the kids. The floor is very sticking so, will hear your footsteps wherever you go. The tables were also very sticky and I could not find out why. That's when the show began, with the hibachi side of the restaurant, and there is a part where a water squirter is sprayed on the customer. Which is fine, but it makes the entire place so sticky. Also, poor customer service, but when someone is eating, that is not the time to work on the vent covers over the oven. May not think crumbs are falling on your plate, but never know since there were crumbs falling on the oven. Overall, it was a nice experience if want to do something different and enjoy some Asian food.

Oh my goodness. This is our new favorite. The filet was cooked perfectly, everything seasoned well, the scallops cooked exactly right....loved love loved. I got the mai tai cocktail and it was so delish. Boys tried the dragon roll sushi and said the eel was some of the best they've had. Our servers and chef were all so kind and fun! We will absolutely be back.

Their food needs to be fresher, cook the rice so it's not soggy, stop being stingy with the shrimp sauce, and server needs to check drink levels more often. The cooks at the tables need to be more entertaining. We waited over 20 minutes at our table before someone came for our drink order.

I look forward to returning to this restaurant. The food was exceptionally delicious and plenty of it. We experienced the hibachi side of the restaurant. The service was good. Oh yes, the atmosphere was awesome.
