Saints Rest Coffee House

Great chai - very yummy. The vibe & atmosphere is super cute with good seating...but they had no music or anything going in there and it was SO QUIET. Like piercingly quiet. No one talking. We felt awkward & like we had to whisper. So we ended up taking our drinks to go. Again, great drinks & a cute place, but not very inviting to stay in and chat. Enjoyed the gluten free goodie options!

This is a wonderfully quaint little coffee shop in a wonderfully quaint little college town run by a wonderful owner. I get the flavored coffee of the month and I love it.

This place is the heart of our little town. A mix of students, seniors, and other town folk mingling all hrs of the day. Plenty of space, Wi-Fi, cold brew, and legendary muffins. Occasional entertainment, which is always delightful! Catch the "Too Many Strings Band" if you can. Popular spot for visiting politicians

Truly enjoy the atmosphere here. From the moment you walk in it just feels… good. It’s peaceful and at times full of joy as the bistros sing 🎵 along to the music. The food and coffee… exceptional. If you are looking for a coffee shop that has a little soul to it… Saints Rest is your go to.

I didn't want to write this! I've visited Grinnell once a year for a long time and stop here off and on. Here's my issue: this place cannot brew regular coffee. It's regularly weak as heck. Smells okay, tastes like nothing. It's gotta be either poor oversight or cheap policy. I've always had good service there, and it's a nice funky spot to sit down. But you may as well go to one of the "cafes" in the College for coffee - you'll get a better brew. I hate saying that.
