Had a horrible experience with the store manager named Henry, was in the store at 1145 and I was trying to grab a few items for dinner when Henry came up to me and said they close in 30 seconds and to get up to the register now! Then when I got to the register he was angrily tapping his finger on the counter, I told him I didn't want to finish my transaction and that I was leaving and didn't appreciate his attitude. He then shouted and said "fine then don't shop here anymore your trespassing" ......I don't typically write reviews but this was absolutely uncalled for and I personally will be taking my business elsewhere until Henry is no longer running the show

Entered the store through the floral department, the spring flowers and floral smell was amazing. From there went directly into the produce department where the fresh fruit looked amazing, just popping! Continued through the store for other grocery needs. Excellent deli, wine and beer selection as well. Really nice cheese display. Plenty of quick grab items ready to go. Located inside the store is a Starbucks. Once outside, I was shocked by the helpfulness of Colin, he approached me and helped me with my cart. Very unexpected, and nice surprise! Thank you very much Colin! 2/19/24 2:00ish…

This is the only store in Washougal, and they take advantage of the situation to the Max and not in a good way! Very helpful employees, who are always courteous and kind people from my interactions with them. Produce is a sore spot here and when possible we purchase it elsewhere.

My five stars go to Heather, who handled a very busy Christmas Eve crowd with a big smile and fast, efficient checkouts. Her excellent customer service was much appreciated!

New, modern Safeway in Washougal. It's in a good sized plaza. It's got a great floral section and a very busy pharmacy. It was well staffed for the holidays! Nice stop!
