it seems they’ve a new security guard that likes to profile people of color. As a veteran and a person of color to walk into my neighborhood Safeway and be treated like the way I was treated tonight is unacceptable. to have my veteran status question because of how I was walking is despicable.

Happy they had the organic marionberry preserves I couldn't get at the Klamath Falls Safeway after allowing me to put it in my cart for pick up. Had to go into that store and could only find high fructose jam but the Ashland Safeway had some jars of the ones I wanted. After a bit of hassle, they allowed me to return some of the jars I purchased in KF. Grateful for that. Would shop there again.

This store clearly lacks enough staff to provide adequate service. I needed something important handled at the customer service desk and ended up waiting 20 minutes. When I went to find the manager, he refused to stop what he was doing for another 20 minutes to assist me. It’s disappointing to see the manager of the entire store show such a lack of prioritization for customer service. Whatever task he deemed more important than addressing customer needs is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against visiting this Safeway if you have anything urgent that requires attention. I’m giving it two stars primarily because I occasionally shop here, but the quality of the fruit and produce is often lacking.

Freshest & highiest quality fruits & vegetables, best meat anywhere around. If you stick to the sale ads you can stock up on everything!! It can get expensive without their ads or coupons. Save $0.20 twenty cents off a gallon of gas when you have a Safeway card, they're free just ask a cashier for one.

Safeway is a solid grocery store with a good selection of products and friendly staff. However, there aren’t many registers, which can lead to longer checkout times. Parking can also be a bit limited, especially during busy hours. Overall, it’s a reliable place to shop, but a little more convenience would make it even better. There is a Starbucks inside which some will enjoy.
