Sabor De Cuba Restaurant

Well be aware prices are wrong. Very expensive for what and where this place is. The rice and frijoles negros was very good so was the tostones. The palomilla on the other hand was tougher than leather as expected this cut of beef is not meant to be filleted and used as a steak. But it was my only option as everything was not available. I got there at 10:59am I asked for a Cuban sandwich didn’t have it do to the pernil being roasted. I asked for any type of stew carne guisada or ropa vieja nothing nada only palomilla or chicken breast grilled. What a let down I drive a truck and came in from GA drove all night to deliver at 730am and was looking forward to a Cuban lunch. I’m not saying to their defense the beans and rice was tasty and served hot do was the tostones. But meat was a let down

Driving from Miami airport to Punta Gorda, Florida, I was craving Cuban food, but the traffic in Miami proper was horrible, so I Googled and came up with 'Sabor de Cuba' in Hialeah, Florida. It did not look like much from the outside, but when I went in, I immediately noticed how sparkling clean the place was. I was greeted by a lovely girl named Lily, who only spoke Spanish. I speak a little Spanish myself and was able to order exactly what I wanted. Macitas de puerco, Frijoles, Yuca, and sweet plantains. The chef brought the food out to me herself and made sure I had everything I wanted along with the coldest beer I've ever had! I ordered the flank steak. I couldnt believe how tender it was. So flavorful and deliscious. I highly recommend this place. The coffee was really good too.

The service was well and the food was amazing! Felt like I was in Miami again! 10/10 recommend!
